Prototype Escape Games offer some of Jacksonville’s most exciting escape room experiences. It’s located just seven minutes from St. John’s Town Center and about 15 minutes from Jacksonville Beach.
Their games include Blackout, where you and your team must piece together the events of a wild Vegas party after waking up with no memory.
Another game is called The Locker Room, where two to twelve players work undercover to help a reporter gather evidence of a shady backdoor deal. This is quite challenging, but I swear – you’re going to love this.
You should also try Dog Days, which is a fun adventure where you play as a dog trying to rescue your mom from the dog catcher. This mission requires at least four players.
Each game runs for 60 minutes, with private booking rates starting at $29.99 per person.
However, take note that this place requires an adult chaperone for players between the ages of 5 and 14.

The company not only offers exciting rooms but also hosts team-building workshops designed to sharpen your problem-solving skills. You’ll also find a variety of themes to choose from, including fantasy, sci-fi, thriller, and comedy adventures.

Additionally, Breakout offers Dispatch, a mystery-in-a-box experience that sharpens your detective skills through physical and virtual clues. Your mind really needs to be tough when using these clues and finding out the answers.
You might also want to try their other thrilling games like Undercover Alley, where you must regain control of a runaway train loaded with explosives.
They also have Do Not Disturb, where you need to save victims while conducting an intensive investigation.

Most of their previous players describe the games as challenging and tricky. These are tests of adaptability and grit, as there is no room for errors.
For instance, in the game called The Wood Shed, you will find yourself trapped with a psychopathic killer. The goal is to escape before the time runs out; otherwise, you’re going to be the next victim of the killer.
Mind Bender allows cancellations, provided that you do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled game. All rooms are available for private bookings.

What I loved the most was The Chamber.
