The 5 Best Beauty Salons in Jacksonville for Head-to-Toe Glow-Ups

beauty-salons-in-jacksonville
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Range of Services: I focused on places that offer a variety of treatments (haircuts and coloring to skincare and nail services), so you can get everything in one place.

Skilled Professional: I selected salons with experienced stylists and technicians known for delivering consistent, high-quality results.

Customer Experience: I prioritized salons praised for their welcoming atmosphere, cleanliness, and attentive service.

Reputation & Reviews: I looked for businesses with strong client feedback, especially those known for reliability and client satisfaction.

Value for Money: While pricing varies, I included beauty salons that strike a good balance between cost and quality.

Here’s what I’ve noticed when it comes to beauty salons: finding the right one isn’t always as simple as picking the closest option. Whether you’re going in for a haircut or a full makeover, the experience and results can vary a lot depending on the salon.

With so many beauty salons in Jacksonville, it can feel overwhelming to choose one that truly understands your style. That’s exactly why I put this guide together. To help you narrow down your options and find salons you can trust.

The goal is simple: help you discover places that not only enhance your look but also give you a relaxing, confidence-boosting experience from start to finish.

How much do beauty salon services cost in Jacksonville?

Beauty salon services in Jacksonville typically cost between $30 and $300 or more per service, depending on the type of treatment and the stylist’s level of experience. Additional costs may also apply for premium services, add-ons, or specialized treatments.

When I first came across Balanced Soul Wellness, what stood out to me was how it doesn’t feel like just a typical beauty clinic. It has more of a wellness-meets-aesthetics vibe.

They offer a mix of services like facials, Botox, B-12 shots, and even customizable massages. So it really feels like a place you can go for both beauty and relaxation.

I also like that the team is pretty well-rounded, with licensed nurse practitioners, massage therapists, and estheticians all working together.

Their membership starts at $89 a month, which feels fairly affordable. It already includes things like an illuminating facial, an acne or ageless facial, or even a 50-minute Swedish massage.

Balanced Soul Wellness also runs some nice promotions, like free Alastin skincare products with certain purchases.

Another interesting touch is that they host spa parties, which makes it feel more social and fun than your usual spa setup.

The only thing to keep in mind is that membership discounts can’t be stacked with other promos.

Pros

  • A multidisciplinary team
  • Affordable membership
  • Membership includes select treatments
  • Regular promotions and freebies

Cons

  • Membership discounts can’t be combined with promos

The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing

Joanne is incredibly kind and truly talented at what she does! This was my very first facial, and it was such an amazing experience. Not only relaxing but also educational. She took her time to explain what my skin needs and offered thoughtful recommendations. You can really tell she’s passionate about her work. Thank you so much, Joanne. I’ll definitely be back! 😊

Side note: the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment at Balanced Soul Wellness… you won’t regret it!”

Clean, vibey, and very zen

“Amazing!! 100/10, the women who work here are courteous, timely, attentive + thoughtful!

Booked over the phone for a next day grouped appt for 3 people and they were able to take us all, so accommodating. (Gave about 20 hours notice of booking)

Booked two 60 min deep tissue massages for $124 each with Djenaba which is such a reasonable price for deep tissue. As well as a 50 min facial with neck + chest add on with Selah for $124 as well! All of our services were relaxing + satisfying. My skin looks incredible + selah was so knowledgeable and was able to switch my service for the same price as my last to something safer for my skin!

They have a beautiful waiting room with big expensive massage chairs with lemon water + a sink + aromatherapy to relax while you wait. They also offered complimentary champagne + wine while I waited 💞 will definitely be back!

Clean, vibey + very zen 🪷”

Bartram Spa stood out to me mainly because of the experience behind it and how much they offer beyond basic spa services.

The owner, Jenean Bullard, has been in the hair industry for about 37 years. She also has 13 years of experience as a patient coordinator, which really shows in how the spa is run and how clients are handled.

They offer everything from hair services to more advanced aesthetic treatments. These include fillers, neurotoxins, and microneedling with radiofrequency, among many others.

Additionally, everything is handled by certified nurses and physicians, so it feels very medically grounded.

Bartram’s membership is $160 a month, which is on the pricier side. But it does come with perks like discounts on Keravive scalp treatments, facials, and retail products. Plus, you get savings on toxins if you are a regular client.

I also like that they support charities like Make-A-Wish and St. Jude, which adds a nice community aspect.

The downside is that scheduling can be a bit frustrating at times, with some clients reporting long waits or delays.

Pros

  • Medically supervised treatments
  • Membership perks and discounts
  • Supports charitable organizations

Cons

  • Scheduling delays and long wait times

I walked out feeling like a million bucks

So my wife and my mother-in-law were supposed to be going to pamper themselves at Bartram Spa and Salon, but my mother-in-law couldn’t make it. That’s how I found myself at the age of 49 for the first time wearing a robe, drinking chamomile, and listening to Enya. Obviously I was uncomfortable with the whole idea, but the staff did a great job of talking me through it. I didn’t even understand what deep tissue massage meant, but it sounded like what I needed. My licensed massage therapist did not disappoint. To her it was business as usual, and she fixed my neck pain like a pro. I walked out feeling like a million bucks. I’m seriously considering putting cucumber slices on my eyes next time.”

The best hair experience we’ve ever had

“We will absolutely be coming back and recommending Megann to everyone who is willing to listen to me brag on and on about just how good my daughter’s hair came out!!! She got highlights, cut, and an updo. The best hair experience we’ve ever had. My daughter was crying because she was so happy! She’s a teenager. Do you know how hard that is to do?!?! If you want happy tears in your life and a relaxing and fun experience. Please go here!!!

Services: Haircut, Shampoo & conditioning, Hairstyling, Service not listed”

The Sage HeadSpa stood out to me because it isn’t your typical spa experience. It was founded by Emily Condle, a clinical esthetician, and Desarai Mannelly, a master cosmetologist, giving it a strong professional foundation.

They combine Japanese-inspired techniques with modern treatments. Everything is done by licensed estheticians and cosmetologists using medical-grade products. It feels very intentional and customized rather than the usual head treatments.

One of the more appealing things is their $125 head spa special, which feels pretty affordable for something that’s quite niche and specialized.

The Sage Spa also has a referral system, where both you and a friend get $10 credits, which is a nice little bonus if you plan to come back.

They even offer training programs or a massage school for people who want to start their own head spa business, which is something you don’t really see elsewhere.

The only downside is that some clients feel the head massage itself can be a bit too light. So it may not feel as intense as expected.

Pros

  • Unique Japanese-inspired treatments
  • Uses medical-grade products
  • Referral rewards system
  • Offers training programs

Cons

  • Head massage may feel too light

I could literally feel tension melt away

Absolutely incredible experience! The Sculpt & Lift facial left my skin visibly tighter, lifted, and glowing. The combination of lymphatic massage, contouring techniques, and relaxation was next level.. I could literally feel tension melt away. The environment was calm, intentional, and sensory-rich.. the perfect balance of luxury and holistic care. My face felt lighter, my jawline more defined, and my whole body deeply relaxed. 10/10 experience..  truly a transformation, not just a facial.”

This was hands down one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had

“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Japanese head spa at Sage Head Spa, and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the spa’s cleanliness, calming atmosphere, and meticulous attention to detail—everything was thoughtfully designed to promote relaxation.

My provider, Hunter, was incredible—attentive, professional, and truly gifted at what they do. They made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and their technique during the head spa treatment immersed me in a state of complete relaxation. It was unlike anything I’ve experienced before—deeply soothing, refreshing, and truly restorative.

This was hands down one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ll definitely be scheduling another appointment soon. If you’re looking for a luxurious, serene experience with outstanding service, Sage Head Spa is the place to go.”

Seventh Wonder feels more like a holistic wellness space than a traditional beauty salon. And that’s what makes it interesting.

They’ve been around for about 24 years and blend Eastern healing practices with modern Western techniques. They focus more on overall balance rather than just surface-level treatments.

The owner, Falguni Shah, has a background as an esthetician, Pranic healer, and Reiki master. This background really shapes the spa’s approach.

Seventh Wonder’s membership is $90 a month, which feels pretty affordable. It already includes a free service, a 30-minute near-infrared sauna session, and 10% off products.

I also like that they’re involved in meaningful charity work, including supporting Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary. They rescue and rehabilitate farm animals and promote compassionate living.

The only thing to note is that they don’t cater to younger teens (around 12 to 16), especially for certain facial treatments, which may limit who can come in.

Pros

  • Uses Eastern and Western techniques
  • Affordable membership
  • Membership includes free service and perks
  • Involved in charitable causes

Cons

  • Limited services for younger teens

The atmosphere was great, but also the attention to details

Went for a couples massage for Valentine’s Day and everything was even better than what we could have imagined. The atmosphere was great but also the attention to details. We were given robes and a locker for our belongings. The room was very comfortable and the oils used felt really good. The massage therapists went above and beyond in the areas we requested. I definitely need to come back and try more of their services. I enjoyed the hand crafted chocolates and they even took a picture of us in our robes. Very grateful for the experience.”

I felt extremely light, relaxed, and calm… like a weight had been lifted

“I recently visited Seventh Wonder Holistic Spa and had an Access Bars session, and the experience was wonderful. From the moment I walked in, the space felt calm, clean, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable right away.

After the session, I felt extremely light, relaxed, and calm – like a weight had been lifted. The energy throughout the spa was very positive and soothing, which made the experience even better.

I truly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend Seventh Wonder Holistic Spa to anyone looking to relax, reset, and experience holistic healing. I will definitely be back.”

Moroccan Hammam & Day Spa really stood out to me because it feels very luxurious and ingredient-focused. It’s almost like a destination spa experience.

They’ve been operating for about 8 years and only use organic products across all their services. It’s a big plus if you’re particular about skincare ingredients.

They also offer a wide range of services like facials, massages, and wraps. There are also unique treatments like algotherapy, vinotherapy, and even 24K gold and pearl body wraps, which definitely make the experience feel elevated.

One of their signature experiences is the Hammam spa ritual, starting at $250. This feels fairly premium but still reasonable considering how detailed the service is.

They also offer 10% off your first booking, which is a nice way to try them out.

Moroccan Day Spa has also received recognition like “Best Day Spa in Jacksonville” and other awards, which adds credibility.

The only drawback is that they don’t really have a membership or loyalty program. So frequent visitors don’t get much in the way of ongoing discounts.

Pros

  • Uses organic products
  • Signature Hammam experience
  • 10% booking discount
  • Award-winning reputation

Cons

  • No membership or loyalty program

This spa has a great selection of massages and body scrub services

Professional from start to finish. This spa has a great selection of massages and body scrub services. On this visit I did both a deep tissue massage followed by a steam and body scrub. This parring was a perfect combination for relaxation and melting any stress away. I definitely felt like a bowl of jello afterwards. To complement the treatment they had a lounge area for relaxing with hot tea and a cup of assorted fruit. This assisted in getting me hydrated and toxins out of the system.  Will definitely visit again and highly recommend.”

Superb service in a relaxing crowd-free environment

“I recently visited the Moroccan Hammam & Day spa and was completely blown away with the services I received by Elizabeth. She was extremely knowledgeable about different skin care products and skin types. While performing the service she also advised me on the best products to use for long term skin care. If you’re looking for superb service in a relaxing crowd-free environment this is the place for you!!! High recommend and can’t wait for my next experience ❤️”
