Then they coated with high-quality Sherwin Williams Loxon paint as a first coat and Super paint as the second. This was recommended by Troy as the Loxon does a better job of sealing the stucco and the Super Paint holds color. I checked in on the progress regularly and found that each day the tools were put up, washed, and stacked neatly (a hallmark of true craftsmen). The masking was done carefully and it shows. “I initially worked with Thomas as the consultant and person who came to my house to discuss both the interior and exterior paint projects. He was great to work with, knew his info, made great suggestions, and checked back on any questions I had before I decided to use New Leaf Painting to do the job. When the projects started I worked with Billy and his crew. They were great to work with. They were on time, professional, well mannered. They set up in the garage and I was amazed at how quickly they removed old wallpaper and prepped the rooms for painting. They checked with me to make sure I was good as I was working from home. The interior turned out great. They then tackled the outside. I needed some repair work on my chimney and we discussed additional work they found after tearing off old parts. They made sure I was ok with what needed to be done. The same thing happened by my front door. Then I wanted my front door stained but they convinced me I would be unhappy with the results so we went to plan B and painted the door the same color as the shutters and it turned out great. “My wife and I hired St Johns Painting to paint our brick home. We had a very specific look in mind, having lime-washed an interior brick accent wall in our Florida Room a year previous. We loved the look we achieved, but had reservations about that finish’s ability to stand up to Florida weather. We also had questions about how to paint the eaves, which were a dated cream color.
Well, if you want a painting company that can advise you on color schemes or finishes, you can’t go wrong with Michael Labelle, who has thirty years experience, and is insightful, articulate, experienced, professional, and friendly.
Michael sent a great crew. They were quickly able to duplicate the lime-wash look with premium paint, thus giving us the look we wanted with high quality paint. BTW, the power wash that preceded the painting was such a good job.
