I’ve seen East Coast Worldwide come up quite a bit, especially among people looking for both tattoos and removals in one place.
What stood out to me is how flexible they are. You can book consultations online through Zoom, which feels convenient if you’re still figuring things out.
They also offer tattoo apprenticeships where work can be free or very low-cost. This is a nice option if you’re on a budget but still want to get inked.

“This is my third tattoo in Jacksonville and by far my best experience. From the moment I walked in the door to schedule an appointment, I was met with kindness. I didn’t feel as if I were a bother, no one seemed disinterested in my presence. It was a welcoming environment. It was calm, clean and inviting. The music was obnoxiously loud and wasn’t off-putting. I made a slight adjustment to my tattoo and felt nervous about it. Eugene didn’t make me feel like the change was an inconvenience. Their hourly rate starts at about $160, which isn’t exactly cheap. But it makes sense given the level of customization and attention to detail they aim for.
I also like that they’re upfront about what they do and don’t offer. They strictly focus on tattoos, but they’ll point you to trusted places for piercings or permanent makeup if you need those.

Starting with the receptionist lady who is very happy/ bubbly/ greets you when you come in; she offered me a variety of drinks while I waited for my consultation. Their waivers/ check in is through a bar code and they take cash or card payments. Consultations: done at nice office desks within the shop, they help design the tattoo right there, can already provide an exact price/ artist, and how they schedule you is organized (you get a receipt/ schedule info page that looks like an actual invoice). Next to actually getting the tattoo: you get a text message reminder the day before about your appointment. The artist I had, Samet, he did a phenomenal job!!!
