Apart from charming Chichi during the shoot, I was impressed by Madelyn Rubin’s approach to her portrait photography. She specializes in portraits, which cover niches such as family, solo, and engagement and couple photos.
Her style is pretty straightforward. She shoots crisp photos that highlight the subject’s features and individual character in ample lighting.
Madelyn’s portraits, overall, are frame-worthy. However, her photos do have a hint of a vintage style that may not be to everyone’s liking.
Some compositions and poses also seem a bit repetitive, so those are factors to consider, especially if you’re looking for something more unique and avant-garde.

It was good timing that I discovered Sarah Hedden because I’m surrounded by friends who have been planning on getting married, so I know a photographer to suggest.
Sarah’s portfolio feels very personal. She has a wide range of photography specializations, but they mostly revolve around family.
From your dream wedding to maternity and even your newborn baby, Sarah has a portfolio showing her expertise.
Her vision is interesting and creative, too. One of her maternity shoots even involves the mother wearing huge pink wings.
Some photos may seem overexposed, though, like her outdoor shots. Poses may also seem too “staged” depending on your preference.

Although they offer portraits and wedding documentation services, what stood out was their 360-booth rental for events. I love this unique offering among event photographers that captures cool angles that guests and participants enjoy.
One thing to check is how soon you need your photos, because they charge an additional fee for rush deliverables.
Plus, if you wish to get copies of the raw images, it’s sad to say that they don’t provide these under any circumstances. It’s best to double-check your needs.

I don’t normally like my professional photos because I tend to look stiff — and I know I’m not the only one. I’ve been looking for a photographer who can make me feel at ease in a blazer, and if you are too, you’d want to consider MSphotography.
They stand out for their corporate headshots that are straightforward and well-lit.
What I also like about them is how they provide flattering angle options for you to choose from. The poses look natural, too, so you wouldn’t look too serious.
Some of their portrait photography compositions may seem too simple, though. They may benefit from exploring more dynamic angles even in their event photos.

Since I was already down the photography rabbit hole, I explored other niches as well. It was interesting to see someone specializing in real estate photography.
I like how Mike Liddell uses light in his works, as his composition complements the architectural lines and shapes. It somehow evokes a certain “feeling” from the place.
I noticed how simple elements like natural light can make or break a real estate photo.
However, despite the ample lighting, some of the colors in his photos seem a bit washed out. His angles may also be a bit too “commercial” if you’re looking to highlight a structure’s creative features.
Nevertheless, his photos show clean documentation.
