Florida summers can get really hot. If your attic doesn’t have good insulation, cool air can escape, so your air conditioner has to work extra hard. This not only makes your home less comfortable but also causes your energy bills to go up.
With so many companies out there, it can be hard to know who to trust. I looked into the best attic insulation services in Jacksonville to help make your choice easier. Check out my top picks and find the right team for your home.
How much does attic insulation cost in Jacksonville?
Attic insulation in Jacksonville typically costs $1,500 to $3,500 for a standard home. The total price depends on the insulation material used, the size of the attic, and the complexity of the installation.
| Insulation Type | Cost per Square Foot |
| Fiberglass Batts or Rolls | $1.00 to $2.00 |
| Blown-In Cellulose or Fiberglass | $1.15 to $2.30 |
| Spray Foam (Open or Closed Cell) | $3.00 to $5.50+ |
| Radiant Barrier | $0.90 to $1.95 |
1. Top Tier

Address: 2155 W 12th St.
Contact: (904) 850-6159
Hours: Monday to Saturday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Top Tier helps homes stay cooler with full insulation services from start to finish. They remove old insulation, check your attic, and recommend the right materials to use.
Their team also helps protect your attic from moisture and pests while making your home more energy efficient. The insulation they install can lower energy use, reduce your carbon footprint, and help raise your home’s value.
I love that they help homeowners apply for energy tax credits. Through their local connections, they’ve also recommended nearby businesses, including custom-made tailors in Jacksonville.
The drawback is that Top Tier operates from a residential apartment unit rather than a large commercial warehouse. This means they’re a smaller, home-based business.

Green Energy Spray Foam Insulation has served Northeast Florida for more than 20 years, making them a trusted choice for homeowners.
Their certified crews work under a licensed contractor and use family-safe materials that help seal air leaks. They also remove old or water-damaged insulation before adding new material.
The team explains that their insulation helps homes feel more comfortable while improving energy efficiency.
And I love that seniors and military members can receive special discounts when availing themselves of the service.
Just keep in mind that their weekend hours are limited to mornings only. They also don’t list material warranty lengths online, so you’ll want to get those details in writing, just like you would with window repair services.

Flawless Installation and Great Value
After having a national insulation company struggle for 6 hours to install new spray-in insulation in my older home, they gave up with no insulation in my attic but plenty in my house and yard. I called Green Energy Insulation Company and they arrived explaining their plan and then flawlessly installing the spray-in insulation in 3 hours with all of the insulation in the attic and NOT my house or yard. Green Energy may or may not by the “low cost provider” but are certainly the best overall value.

3. Custom Climate LLC

Website: jaxsprayfoam.com
Address: 5711 Cedar Oaks Dr.
Contact: (904) 472-3700 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 AM | Saturday 12:00 AM–6:00 AM, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Custom Climate LLC is a family-owned company that prioritizes quality over shortcuts.
From what I’ve seen, they use trusted, top-brand materials and start each project with an in-person consultation. This helps them understand your home and recommend what you really need.
Their open- and closed-cell spray foam is installed under the roof deck to help reduce energy loss. It also helps block dust, pollen, and other outdoor irritants.
On top of that, better insulation can also help your cooling system work less during Jacksonville’s hot weather.
However, they only install spray foam, so they may not be the best choice if you need fiberglass batts or loose-fill insulation. The full process can also take up to two weeks.

Professional Service and Comfortable Home
Would have made a mistake not calling these guys, Bob and Jerry are awesome to work with. They worked with my schedule, answered all my questions, and were more than reasonable on the price with the job they did. Their crew showed up on time, cleaned up, and got the job done the right way. I couldn’t even tell they were in my house. My house is a lot more comfortable, my a/c runs half as much now, and the attic is nice an cool, just as Jerry had promised. Never doing blown-in insulation again!! Thanks guys!!

Address: 4720 Salisbury Rd.
Contact: (904) 679-9572 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
360 Energy Spray Foam has helped Jacksonville homeowners lower cooling costs for 15 years. The company is fully licensed and accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
I liked that the owner takes time to review each home’s layout before suggesting materials. This helps ensure homeowners get the right option rather than the most expensive one.
Regardless of which you choose, their insulation materials are all made for Florida’s climate.
They also offer free, detailed on-site estimates, keep work areas clean, and can often complete attic projects in about four hours.
Customers have also shared positive experiences, including instances where the team returned later to address concerns.
On the downside, they’re closed on weekends, so scheduling is required on weekdays. Some home layouts may also limit insulation choices to standard fiberglass rather than premium spray foam.
5. Ecofoam Insulation and Coatings

Website: ecofoaminsulations.com/

Contact: (843) 474-6618
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Ecofoam Insulation and Coatings makes home insulation upgrades easier with financing options, including zero percent APR for up to 12 months.
They specialize in high-performance spray foam and drill-and-fill retrofitting, which adds insulation without removing walls. Plus, they offer both open-cell and closed-cell insulation to match different home needs.
From what I’ve noticed, their crews carefully prepare the work area to help keep your home clean during the project.
The company is also certified by the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA), and the team receives Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training.
On the other hand, their history in Jacksonville is shorter than their presence in nearby states. Pricing is also not listed, so you’ll need to contact them for a quote.

Fair Price and Quality Upgrade
Ecofoam did an attic insulation “touch up” with blown insulation for me. The price was fair. The crew did a great job protecting the house with plastic and I’m very pleased with the insulation upgrade in our attic.
