5 Best Window Installers in Jacksonville for a Clearer Upgrade

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Local Weather Resilience: We looked for frames and glass that can take Jacksonville’s heat, humidity, and rough storm seasons. Energy-efficient and impact-rated options scored higher. Workmanship and Warranties: We checked both labor and manufacturer coverage. Strong warranties mean fewer nasty surprises after installation. Pricing and Financing: We compared overall value, not just the cheapest quote. Clear pricing and flexible payment plans earned extra points. Installation Standards: We reviewed crew training, certifications, and installation practices. Good workmanship helps keep drafts, leaks, and water intrusion out.

I’d just had a window repair team over when they pointed out one section that was past the patch-up stage. Apparently, some windows know when it’s time to retire.

With Jacksonville’s heat, humidity, and stormy weather, I didn’t want to put off a proper replacement. Better windows can help with comfort, energy efficiency, and keeping the house more weather-ready.

So I started looking for the best window installer in Jacksonville to handle the job properly. Good window installation is one of those home upgrades you really don’t want done halfway, right?

How much does it cost to hire a window installer in Jacksonville?

Replacing a standard window in Jacksonville typically costs between $550 and $750 per unit, with overall project prices ranging from $350 to over $1,200 depending on framing materials, labor fees, and hurricane impact ratings.

Jacksonville Doors and Windows caught my attention for its Pella Platinum Certified Contractor status, which suggests solid familiarity with Pella products and installation standards.

That’s reassuring when you’re dealing with Jacksonville heat, humidity, and stormy weather.

I liked that they carry several window brands, including Pella, Andersen, Simonton, and PGT. Their lineup gives you room to compare vinyl, fiberglass, wood, and other options without feeling boxed into one choice.

Their no-pressure consultation style is another plus, especially if aggressive sales pitches make you want to climb out the nearest window.

Quotes are typically emailed the next day, giving you time to look over the numbers without making a snap decision.

The main drawback is scheduling, since the office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. That could be inconvenient if weekdays are already packed tighter than a freshly caulked frame.

Pros

  • Pella Platinum Certified Contractor
  • Offers several major window brands
  • Vinyl, fiberglass, and wood options available
  • No-pressure consultation approach
  • Next-day emailed quotes

Cons

  • Closed on weekends

Quick Front Door Window Installation

Jacksonville Doors and Windows recently installed our Front Door Window. Ricky the Tech and Brittany the salesperson were easy to deal with and very professional. The installation took only about an hour, and we love the new look it gave our front door. Thank you both for your work.

Beautiful Kitchen Window Installation

Robert Hernandez and Dennis installed our kitchen window and did a beautiful job! They were knowledgeable, professional, clean, and completed the task in a very reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend Renewal by Andersen and both installers.

Window World of Northeast Florida stood out to me for pairing everyday replacement windows with impact-rated options for storm-prone homes.

Their products carry the Good Housekeeping Seal, which adds a little extra reassurance when durability matters.

I liked that their vinyl windows can come with Low-E coatings and argon-filled glass. Those features can help reduce heat transfer and UV exposure, which is handy when Jacksonville summer starts doing the absolute most.

They serve several Northeast Florida counties, including Duval, Clay, Nassau, Baker, Putnam, and St. Johns.

That gives homeowners across a fairly wide area access to both standard and impact window options.

The catch is that their office is closed on weekends, so consultations may require weekday juggling. If you live outside their listed service counties, you’ll need to look elsewhere too.

Pros

  • Good Housekeeping Seal on eligible products
  • Impact-rated window options available
  • Low-E coatings and argon-filled glass options
  • Serves multiple Northeast Florida counties
  • Vinyl replacement windows available

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Limited to its listed Northeast Florida service area

Great Window and Sliding Door Installation

Had 4 windows and a sliding glass door installed. Matthew, Chris, and Mitch were our installers and did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. They forgot to install the quarter round trim at the bottom of the sliding glass door. However, we contacted Matthew, and he came back to install it.

Professional Window Replacement and Follow-Up

After several estimates, we chose Window World to install a new replacement window in our home. They had great customer service, very professional in their presentation (as were the other companies). We liked the fact that they are nationwide.

Service after the install – scheduled next-day appointment, very professional, took the time to straighten items he had to move.

Definitely a 5 Star business. Thanks

Ace Door & Window has been around since 1985, so they’re hardly new to Jacksonville homes. I like that they handle everything from straightforward replacements to more customized window and door projects.

Their hurricane-impact window options are especially relevant around here, where storm season likes to keep homeowners humble.

They carry products aimed at improving durability and energy performance without making the whole process feel overly complicated.

The lifetime labor warranty is another strong point for owner-occupied single-family homes. It covers workmanship, which gives you some useful backup if installation issues crop up later.

The catch is that coastal and multi-family properties get much shorter coverage.

Homes within one mile of the coast receive only a one-year labor warranty as well, so waterfront living comes with a less generous safety net.

Pros

  • Serving Jacksonville since 1985
  • Hurricane-impact window options
  • Handles standard and customized projects
  • Energy-efficient product options
  • Lifetime workmanship warranty for qualifying homes

Cons

  • Coastal homes within one mile of the ocean get only a one-year labor warranty
  • Multi-family properties receive shorter warranty coverage

Excellent Window Repair and Installation

Roc & Maple came out today to replace a dining room window sash & large arched window cover too.  Their install was both excellent and professionally done.   They even gave us a good instructional demo on use and cleaning of our double hung windows, as they cleaned them.   Great job!!!

Quick and Courteous Window Replacement

Sean and Jesse helped us with the replacement of two double pane windows that had fogged and started to get mold spots. Once the glass arrived from their supplier, an install date was set up for the next week. On the day of install, Melody kept us apprised of the arrival time. Everything was handled courteously and with quality, taking only an hour to complete, including clean up. This was our second job with Ace, who also installed a fiberglass exterior door a few years ago. I think you’ll be pleased if you select Ace for your project or repair.

Wallaby Windows of Jacksonville won me over with hours that are actually friendly to people with weekday jobs. They’re open evenings and weekends, which makes planning a consultation far less annoying.

I liked their Pane-Free Service Guarantee too, especially the free inspection scheduled 23 months after installation.

That checkup gives them a chance to catch small performance issues before they become bigger headaches.

Their installation process includes cleanup and a final walkthrough, which is reassuring if you don’t fancy finding screws and packaging all over the driveway. They handle custom window options as well, so unusual openings aren’t automatically a dealbreaker.

The only confusing bit is the warranty wording.

Some published info mentions a two-year installation warranty, while their FAQ promotes broader lifetime protection, so I’d ask exactly what’s covered before signing.

Pros

  • Evening and weekend hours
  • Free 23-month post-installation inspection
  • Custom window options available
  • Cleanup and final walkthrough included
  • Pane-Free Service Guarantee

Cons

  • Two-year installation coverage and broader lifetime protection aren’t clearly distinguished

Professional Window and Door Installation

The entire team at Wallaby Windows of Jax is professional and transparent throughout the entire process from start to finish. Their installers were very accommodating while working with our schedules to install my windows and the next door neighbor’s windows simultaneously. The Wallaby team is also familiar with the My Safe Florida Home program and is able to guide their clients on the process and required steps. I would highly recommend Wallaby for any of your window or door needs in Jacksonville and surrounding areas!

Smooth Window Installation and Great Communication

The entire process was excellent from start to finish. Kelly efficiently walked me through each window option and clearly explained what to expect. Vinny, the project manager,  answered all of my questions professionally and promptly addressed every issue identified by the inspector without hesitation. Wil and his installation team were courteous, skilled, and highly professional. They worked seamlessly together, completed the window installation efficiently, and left behind very little mess. Great job.

5. Renewal by Andersen of Jacksonville

Renewal by Andersen of Jacksonville appealed to me because they handle the process from consultation through custom manufacturing and installation.

That means fewer moving parts for you to chase when one window project starts multiplying into five.

Their Fibrex composite is another standout, with the company stating it’s twice as strong as vinyl. The material has also been tested in temperatures up to 150°F, which feels appropriately dramatic for a Jacksonville summer.

I liked the warranty structure too, especially the 20-year coverage on standard glass and Fibrex material.

Installation itself carries two years of coverage, while other hardware components have separate terms.

The trade-off is price, since their custom-built approach can cost more upfront than basic replacement options. Their Jacksonville showroom is closed on weekends too, which makes weekday scheduling a little less flexible.

Pros

  • Full-service consultation-to-installation process
  • Custom-built replacement windows
  • Fibrex composite material
  • 20-year coverage on standard glass and Fibrex material
  • Transferable limited warranty

Cons

  • Higher upfront pricing than basic replacement options
  • Jacksonville showroom is closed on weekends

Careful Installation of a Large Window

Chris and his team Antonio and Mr. Peterson, did an awesome job replacing a very large 3rd-story window at my house. They carefully removed the old damaged window, which had to be lowered via rope to the ground safely due to the broken glass.   The replacement window is far superior to the original window in every way!!  Thank you Renewal by Andersen!

Smooth Replacement of 16 Windows

I had my 20-year-old builder’s-grade windows replaced by Renewal by Andersen. The process was smooth from start to finish. The new windows look great and function perfectly. The installation took two days for 16 new windows. The installation team was true professionals. They cleaned up as they went and put plastic up around each window they were working on. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t hesitate calling Renewal by Andersen. Are there cheaper companies out there doing windows? Sure, but you get what you pay for.
