This article is a culmination of months of research — talking to companies and trying to scour whatever information I could collect. And finally, it’s ready folks!
I’ve managed to compile a list of all the trusted pros in the area, so you can choose the right service — minus all the guesswork.
1. Waste Pro

I considered Waste Pro after hearing that they accept hazardous waste like cleaners, insecticides, and motor oil. It’s not common for waste disposal services to accept such items, so I kept this in mind as a good option.
It’s versatile to cater to both residential and commercial spaces – with dumpster rentals available to commercial clients. Many customers want a service that they can keep coming back to regardless of the space.
I found it exciting that Waste Pro has eco-friendly systems, too, so it’s good news! Their trucks have reduced exhaust emissions, and they have paper, plastic, and cardboard recycling facilities.
While their social media presence seems to have been outdated for years, they continue to have recent positive reviews from previous clients.

Responsive and timely
“I was very impressed with the responsive, timely collection of my tree trimmings recently. I finished stacking the material on a Saturday and Waste Pro collected it the following Tuesday with its grappling truck. The driver/operator, Eric was friendly and efficient. At one point, some material had fallen out of the claw so he climbed down from the operator station to ensure it wasn’t left behind. I’m sure he views that as his obligation, but I know that sometimes with yard debris pickup, it can be left where it drops. So, thank you much to Waste Pro and specifically to Eric.”

As someone who doesn’t really lift heavy objects, I found it convenient that Jacksonville Hauling offers light demolition services for fences, decks, and hot tubs. I’m just not made for such heavy work, so I like that I can rely on them for these tasks.
I have heard from friends, too, that their efficient team can provide services the same day or the next day, depending on availability. This is great for spontaneous moments of home cleanup when you’re just restless about getting rid of unnecessary items at home.
If you’re looking for dumpster rentals, they also provide 13-yard and 17-yard dumpsters. The rate starts at $305 but there may be additional fees depending on your needs.
While they have dumpster rentals, they don’t accept hazardous waste, so keep this in mind when disposing of sensitive chemicals. Some also say that they have inconsistent customer service and there are times they’re a no-show.
Efficient service
“I recently brought down a rotted 12’ X 12’ tree house covered with a 6” thick base of vines. After realizing I was now in over my head with how to clean it up, I called around and got few uninterested return calls. I contacted JHJ, and got an immediate response. I provided details of the job and got a fair price estimate. Two days later two guys showed up, and I figured they would be here all day. But, wow! Two hours later, all of the debris was in the truck, including the vines! There was not a trace of what was there earlier. I cannot express what an excellent job they did in such a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend them..”

My friend Tammy recommended this because she knows that I like services that go beyond the expected. LoadUp is a company that partners with Habitat for Humanity and even Goodwill to coordinate donations or recycling processes.
This is a huge deal for me because you wouldn’t want your waste to contribute to further planetary pollution, and you’d want other people to make use of what you no longer need.
Like my neighbors, I have a ton of heavy junk like exercise gear, old mattresses, and a rusty washing machine, and it’s great that LoadUp can take care of all of those in one go.
They’re also careful in moving the items, so my other personal belongings don’t get damaged in the process of removing heavy equipment.
However, they don’t accept hazardous waste, so you’d have to coordinate with your local facilities regarding those. There is also feedback that there are instances when their staff doesn’t follow the agreed-upon schedule.
Nevertheless, their online booking process is easy and convenient, so LoadUp is worth a try.
Fast, fairly priced with good customer service

4. Dumpster Dudez

When I was asking around, I didn’t expect that Dumpster Dudez would make it on the list because I’ve heard that they have limited information on recycling or donation systems. A lot of people were impressed by the range of dumpster rental sizes, though.
The company offers dumpster rental sizes from 10 yards to 25 yards, so just select what you need. This is great, especially if you’re trying to haul bulk junk from the community, as they’ll be encouraged to dispose of waste because of convenience.
While they’ve mentioned that the company has respectful staff, this can be inconsistent, so just keep an eye out for that. They do, however, communicate clearly like when it comes to giving options of when to pick up the waste.
Take note, too, that they have clear policies on non-acceptance of hazardous waste.

Of course, there are times when the homeowners association didn’t need much help but I was left with my personal electronic waste lying around, so I had to look for proper disposal services. Sensible Recycling offers precisely that.
If you have e-waste just taking up space in your drawers, it’s time to let go and take advantage of Sensible Recycling’s free services! You heard that right – they don’t charge you for letting go of your old or broken printers, laptops, or tablets.
On top of that, they have data security assurance, so you can have peace of mind that there’s no data breach when you hand over your electronics.
It’s also reassuring that they’re a company that is accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), so I’m sure of their commitment to quality service.
The only downsides are how they have a minimum quantity required per pickup, so they don’t pick up single items like TVs and printers. You’d want to coordinate with them regarding your items, so you’d get a heads up.
Sensible Recycling also focuses only on electronic waste, so they don’t accept general household or commercial waste.
