I get impatient when it comes to having a broken appliance, so it’s a good signal for me that they offer a same-day service for emergency HVAC repairs if you call before 10am.
If there’s one thing to consider, it’s how they sometimes lack commitment to the agreed upon repair schedule. A few people I interviewed came across this issue.

If there’s anything that’ll convince me to try an HVAC company, it’s their proof of expertise, and Air Engineers Service Experts provides this assurance. They’re Advanced Certified Experts (ACE), and they ensure to renew this certification annually.
I keep them on my list because I feel assured of their knowledge, efficiency, and quality. They’re also accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), so you’re also sure of their aspiration to provide professional customer service.
My colleague Fred mentioned that they once lacked follow-through regarding the repair schedule, though. He also said that he had to pay additional fees upfront, which was a bit beyond his budget.
Air Engineers, however, provide full services like replacing water heaters, installation of germicidal UV lights, and maintenance for furnaces.

A good HVAC system, for me, is non-negotiable, so I’m happy about McGowan’s coupons that allow regular system maintenance without breaking the bank. They have various seasonal offers like for an AC system tune-up, so keep an eye out for those.
I get anxious whenever my AC gets busted, so it’s also good that they have a 24/7 emergency service. They’re very courteous in communicating with clients while also sharing extensive knowledge of their services.
However, while they claim to be licensed technicians, there’s no mention of specific certifications. They offer a wide range of services, though, from installation of air purifiers to repairing heat pumps.
They also sometimes lack follow-through on their promised schedule, so you should look elsewhere if you’re in a rush.

“I am impressed with McGowan’s. Today, Antonio came to perform our 6 months preventative maintenance check. He called before, arrived on time and began his work. He took the time to tell me how to correctly flush the condensate pipes. Then he showed me the differences in filter types and ratings. He showed me the startup amperage readings on one if my units and suggested a hard start device. I know it as an easy start from my RV. I elected to have that work done. Antonio then shared with me the new startup amps. He also suggested an air purifier but I declined at this time. I feel my hvac system is well cared for. A broken system in the middle of the day is not fun, so I’m happy about Snyder’s quick 24/7 response for emergency repairs. Adding to their convenience is how they deliver punctual service.
What’s more, they have extensive service coverage from smart thermostat installation to AC maintenance. They also provide blown insulation, which improves your system’s efficiency.
There have been, however, some reports of inconsistent work quality, and their tendency to overcharge for simple tasks. On the plus side, these instances were rare, so you’re still granted peace of mind of receiving one of the best services in the city.
Snyder also has financing options through Wells Fargo to help customers book the complete services they need, but still remain within their budget.

Back then, I would’ve been able to withstand an uncomfortable environment, but now that I’m older, I’m so grateful for services like Hammond that have extensive offerings.
They provide services, like geothermal heating, that make heating and cooling more energy-efficient. The team also caters to commercial HVAC systems.
What’s also great is that they offer packages like the Special Air Quality Package that allows clients to improve their home’s air quality while getting a great price for it.
In addition to this, they also have financing options that provide better deals for customers on a budget.
I’ve heard encounters of unprofessional communication, and the lack of follow-through in status updates, but Hammond is a team that’s accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), so I’m sure those few instances are just common human error.

I was also told by another company my lines from the air handler to the outside unit were leaking and needed to be replaced. Steven and David arrived 30mins early to install the system. They were awesome. They didn’t mess around. Very professional and efficient. It only took 5 hours from the time they pulled up to the time they left. They left their work areas cleaner than when they got here. They also did a correct pressure test on my lines and said they were perfectly fine and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I was very satisfied with HammondAir and their employees. I will be using them from now on. I would highly recommend.”
